Yael Japha Trainer, PMA®-CPT

Before her journey into Pilates, Yael Japha Trainer was a professional dancer and dance teacher with various local companies and studios across the Front Range. A third generation Colorado native, she discovered Pilates while living in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2008. In 2009, Yael felt the pull of the mountains and returned home to Denver, where she spent four years developing her personal practice with Cara Reeser at Pilates Aligned. Yael earned her teacher training certification from the Pilates Center of Boulder, completed the Kathy Grant Heritage Training Program® in 2013, and today is an active PMA®-CPT certified educator. Before opening TerraFly Pilates, Yael taught at Pilates Aligned, pH7, Colorado Athletic Club and BlueSky Physical Therapy. She received a BA in Dance and Political Theory from the Claremont Colleges in Southern California. Yael enjoys using Pilates to help others find connection through movement. She truly feels Pilates is about teaching each individual body. Her passion is helping her clients achieve their goals, whether it's healing an injury or doing Pilates to enable them to do the things they love better. Yael is also a teacher for Pure Body Teacher Training and beyond proud to be part of that community.  Yael loves taking classes at other studios and is constantly inspired by the Pilates community in Denver.  Yael continues to find inspiration from dance, yoga, and any activity that allows her to move and be creative. Yael is a new mom and cherishes time with her son as well as biking, running and climbing with her husband and dog.  

Shere Dayney

Shere earned her instructor certification in the classical Pilates method through PH 7 Pilates, and recently graduated from Master teacher Cara Reeser’s Kathy Grant Heritage Training Program® in 2016. She holds numerous specialty Pilates continuing education credits, as well being a certified yoga instructor. Originally trained as a classical ballet dancer, Shere was a founding member of Colorado Concert Ballet (now Colorado Ballet), and has had with a life long love affair in the dynamics of movement.

Prior to becoming a certified instructor, Shere discovered Pilates in her quest to find relief for compression fractures and disc-related back pain. It soon became the salve that soothed her body, and inspired her to become a certified instructor so she could help others achieve their personal goals and live active, healthy lives unhindered by pain. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Shere traveling the world, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and enjoying all the wonderful things Colorado has to offer!

Panny Cowan

Panny got her first taste of Pilates while living in Chicago after college. Immediately, she fell in love with the way it made her feel, and hasn't looked back. After relocating to Denver, Panny earned her certification in the classical Pilates method through pH7 Pilates. She finds strength and confidence through movement, and loves helping her clients on their own personal Pilates journeys. A huge proponent of the vast array of exercises Pilates offers, and the ability to adapt and customize the practice for all types of students. Empowered by helping her clients expand both their knowledge and practice, Panny believes that the movement techniques learned through Pilates offers an invaluable combination of healing, energizing, life changing results.

Skye Cornwell

A native of Houston, TX, Skye received her BFA in modern dance from the University of Oklahoma. She has continued dancing professionally both nationally and internationally. Skye trained in Rome, Italy with VIVO Ballet, and is now currently dancing with professional dance companies in Denver. Skye is a certified Pilates instructor through Peak Pilates, and teaches group classes and private sessions throughout the Denver area. As a dancer, Pilates has always been extremely beneficial throughout her dance career. It quickly gave her the strength and alignment needed, both mentally and physically. Skye believes the mind-body-spirit connection is very important, and that Pilates is such a great way to balance those aspects of life. After graduating college, Skye realized she wanted to continue her education in Pilates, as well as pay it forwards to others. Skye is always continuing her education and learning new ways to help her clients achieve their personal fitness goals, as well as maintaining an enjoyable environment.

Lilly Webster

Lilly is a Colorado native from Boulder who recently moved back to Colorado after living in Atlanta, GA for seven years. She is a physical therapist that has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She currently works inpatient in a hospital with primarily post-surgical orthopedic and burn patients. Lilly found Pilates as a physical therapy student and started her training with Balanced Body while completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Emory University. Pilates has served as a compliment to her own personal fitness routine and Lilly loves that Pilates is an inclusive practice that can be modified for every body, injury, and fitness level.  With her rehabilitation background Lilly meets clients where they are in their movement journey whether they are working towards improving their fitness or returning from an injury. When Lilly is not in the studio or at work she likes to travel as often as possible and enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer with her dog and husband.

Kit Matthews

Kit relocated to Denver from New York City, where she taught Pilates since 2006. Growing up in the professional ballet world, Kit has always had a love of biomechanics and movement. Dealing with back and hip injuries from ballet, she turned to Pilates to help her realign and rehab her own body. In 2006, Kit earned her Pilates Mat certification with Linda Farrell of LindaFit Pilates and her apparatus certification at Pilates Academy International (PAI) in New York City, while becoming an instructor at Pilates on Fifth. She is also a certified CARDIOLATES® instructor, Barre Above Master Trainer, TRX for Club Pilates educator and Senior Master Trainer for Club Pilates. Over the past few years, Kit has trained a wide range of clients; from NFL football players and professional dancers to the Pilates novice. Her teaching style reflects her roots as a dancer, a marathon runner and an IRONMAN athlete. She pushes and challenges her clients to fulfill their fitness potential, while maintaining a fun and encouraging environment. Since certification, Kit has appeared in a GAIAM Pilates DVD (Total Body Challenge: Pilates with Linda Farrell) and Pilates Style Magazine (March 2007, Do You Believe In Magic, by Jillian Hessel), was interviewed for SHAPE Magazine, as well as developing mat classes for fitness clubs around the NYC area. While outside the studio, she continues her running and triathlon training throughout the year with various charity groups and hopes to continue this passion here in Denver and is excited to help you find your healthiest self. Most recently, Kit was the Sr. Corporate Master Trainer at Club Pilates where she traveled the U.S. and Canada helping the franchise open new studios, train participants to become Pilates Instructors, train Pilates Instructors to be a Master Trainer for the franchise, assisted in writing Pilates content for a number of publications and much more. She is looking forward to being back in the studios in Denver helping people to move better and enjoy a more pain free life.
